What happens to my prescription refill when my insurance changes?

Hey so I’m a young adult and insurance is confusing. So I had an endocrinologist who had me on hrt (estradiol pills and spironolactone) I’ve been on these meds for about 2 years. Suddenly my group within my insurance (Medi-cal LA Care) changed and my endocrinologist doesn’t accept this new insurance group. There was no point in switching the group back because the front desk told me the waitlist to for my former endo was about a year. So now I’m entering in a new clinic but the waitlist is a lot longer than expected and I’m running out of my medications. My prescriptions say I have one more refill left and I was wondering if it’ll still go through? I’m still in LA Care and they cover all hrt meds as it’s medically necessary. If my refill won’t go through then I might just try to ration my last pills to avoid hormone withdrawals. I’m honestly really scared of this because it causes suicidal ideation when my hormone levels are out of wack and I’m just so frustrated right now
