Million Dollar Round Table Keeps Helping the World Sell More

Vancouver, British Columbia

MDRT is reintroducing public relations workshops and one-on-one consultations. The group will also be presenting the results of new research on emotional intelligence.

The backdrop: The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the meetings for several years. Now, geopolitical tension is getting more attention.

“With all that’s going on in the world, it can be tempting to isolate and withdraw from one another,” Gagne said. “But it’s during these times that it’s most important to tap into international initiatives like the MDRT annual meeting.”

MDRT study groups and mentorship arrangements can also help members learn from colleagues all around the world, Gagne said.

Do MDRT members have any ideas about how would-be peacemakers can sell everyone else on peace?

“While the details of client circumstances can be different, one constant we see is the importance of intentional communication,” Gagne said. “Not only does communication help MDRT members, our clients, clients’ families and businesses, it could also help the world work better together.”
