Seconds thoughts on insurance

Going to preface by saying this might not make sense, but please please please bear with me I need help. Like this is a little long but please help me !!!

I’m a 22 year old female and this is my first time trying to get insurance without family help. I needed to switch insurances due to tax reason, I was previously using Oscar health but was told I would need to switch or pay back government next tax season. My parents sad my options are to just be uninsured rest of the year, get a private insurance, or get it through my job. I decided to go the route of getting insurance through my work because it sounded like the adult thing to do.

So what I understood is my job pays 30% of cost, leaving me to pay $163 monthly. The company is USHealth Advisors. From what I read online there is a lot of mixed reviews which is scary to me. I understand it’s not ACA complaint(even tho idk what that means or if that’s a huge deal). What scared me tho was reading it is not technically an insurance, it’s like an indemnity plan. So to the Reddit world my questions are:

Is this a reputable company?

I am a young, healthy individual, no previous conditions, what I am looking for something that is there if I have an emergency and also annual check up or if I’m not feeling well and go to like an urgent care or something. Is that going to be a concern?

What are people’s experience with this company as healthy individuals?

I already started the application process, if I chose not to move forward could I cancel that like tomorrow if I decided?

Recommendations please for someone like me!

I know these are questions I should have asked the agent and I did ask questions, but their responses seemed scripted and the things they were saying made it sound super great. Any help is so so greatly appreciated. Thank you!!
