Authored by Aviva

Over the last two years, we’ve seen an acceleration of digital adoption, and this increased emphasis is shifting expectations in the market.

Brokers are looking to enhance their own operations with digital or automated processes, with an onus on insurers to provide more digitisation and efficiency. In addition, the acceleration of digital in business means clients now also expect even quicker service and more personalisation.

To make sure we’re delivering what you need from us, we’ve been targeting investment in key areas, including integrating data and automation where we believe it can deliver better outcomes. Part of this is understanding how digital solutions can help to improve speed of service for simple and common tasks.

That’s why we’re launching a new tool on the Aviva Broker website to help give you more control of your regionally-traded Commercial business.

What does the new tool do?

As part of our continued investment, the new tool will launch on Aviva Broker on 25 May 2022 and will allow you to simple changes to your Commercial policies online.

Initially, this includes:

Adding or Removing a vehicle for regionally traded Commercial Motor policies in as few as 10 clicksRenewing or Lapsing regionally traded Commercial Motor and non-motor policies

Supported by dedicated underwriters

The tool will be supported by a dedicated team of underwriters. They’ll be responsible for working with you to help resolve requests for actions that can’t be completed online. In addition, they’re available via the tool’s Live Chat function if you need in-the-moment support.

Not only does this help to free up your usual underwriter for more complex matters, but it’ll also help to improve the speed of service for you and your clients.

When logged in to Aviva Broker, head to ‘My Account’, which you can find on the ‘My Services’ drop-down menu. Scroll down to the ‘System Access’ section and select ‘Regionally-traded business’. Your request will then be managed by our Aviva Broker Online Support team.
