Global brokerage network Brokerslink has added Alliant Retail Property & Casualty executive vice president and managing director Alexandra Littlejohn (pictured) to its board of directors.

With more than 36 years of experience in the insurance sector, including stints at Marsh and WTW, Littlejohn’s comprehensive knowledge and employment history strongly position her as a valuable asset to the board at Brokerslink.

José Manuel Fonseca, president and chief executive of Brokerslink, remarked on the appointment, saying: “Alexandra’s great experience and deep understanding of the insurance industry will be highly valued by the board.

“Her strategic insights and global perspective will empower our network to navigate complex challenges and capitalise on emerging opportunities. We are confident that Alexandra’s addition will enhance collaboration and drive mutual success across the Brokerslink community.”

In her new role on the board, Littlejohn will be taking over the position previously held by Jamie Crystal, representing Alliant as its nominated member.

In a previous Insurance Business profile featuring Littlejohn, she said: “I have a ‘go for it’ attitude. I might as well try something and not let fear prevent me from doing something that could make a difference, be a game-changer, or take a path toward bigger and better things to come.

“I don’t think I have ever taken the first ‘no’ and walked away; there is always something that you can make out of lemons.”
