Charged by both physician and third-party company for medical device. Can I fight this?

I visited the urgent care a couple months ago and was given an ankle brace for a minor injury that's since healed. I received a bill from urgent care and was charged about $100 as a line item for the brace alone (in addition to other charges that are a lot, but are expected with an urgent care visit). Then I received a $200 bill for the SAME ANKLE BRACE from the medical supplier. I called both the care provider and the medical supplier and they both were like "yeah this is a thing" and just told me to call the other party to see about getting it reduced. It just seem so wrong to me that both the medical provider and the third-party supplier are both collecting money for this pretty minor device (I won't even get to the asinine price and how I should have just said thanks for confirming it's not broken and gone to CVS to get the same thing for $40), almost like they're double-dipping and clearly the medical provider is profiting the most here. Both bills have been adjusted for insurance already. What can I do? Is this a legit practice for two different providers to both collect money for the same literal, physical item?
