This SEMA Ford Maverick Show Truck Is A Symphony In Teal

The SEMA show is always great. It can kind of be a downer though because most of the vehicles you see will never be made for sale. Not unless you want to spend a lot of time and dollars parting one out. But sometimes, one of those special vehicles from the show pops up for sale in a random place. Take this Ford Maverick from the 2022 SEMA show for sale on Facebook Marketplace.
Make It A Maverick | What Car Should You Buy
First spotted by Ford Authority, this Maverick was the result of a big collaboration between Saleen Performance, Toyo Tires, 3D Carbon and JBL Audio. This being a SEMA build, it’s all about the exterior.

There’s Calypso Green Paint that has white, pink and black accents. It looks great and honestly looks like something that’s straight out of the 1990s. Up front there’s a custom grille with pink surround with a large front air dam and splitter. Alongside there’s side rockers, and fender flares that really help emphasize how big the white powder-coated 22” TSW Daytona wheels are.
Around back there’s dark tinted tail lights, pink trim around the “Maverick” badge, a pink bed spoiler, and white tipped dual exhausts. Don’t get too excited about the sight of those exhaust outlets. Like the interior of this thing, the engine is completely stock which makes me wonder just what Saleen Performance’s involvement was here. Not everything is stock though. This Maverick rides on a custom air suspension set up with a bed mounted compressor and is controlled via a device in the interior. There’s also a unique audio system setup. There’s four JBL marine grade speakers fitted to a bed mounted wake tower that can be raised and lowered at the touch of a button.
If you want this sweet looking Maverick it’s going to cost you. A lot. The car is currently listed for sale on Facebook Marketplace and on the site of Leif Johnson Ford in Austin, Texas. They’re asking a cool $85,000 for this Maverick. While the truck looks cool, that’s a big ask for what amounts to a custom paint job, big wheels, an air bag suspension system and four JBL speakers. Had this had more done to its stock interior and stock 2.0-liter Ecoboost engine, it might be a bit more tempting.
