Take A Look At Maserati's Glorious Electric GranCabrio Folgore From Every Angle
Looks good, I’ll take one. Image: Maserati
Maserati broke new ground Monday, becoming the first luxury carmaker to release a high-performance, all-electric convertible supercar, which it’s calling the GranCabrio Folgore. The new car joins Maserati’s lineup of EVs, which also includes the Grecale Folgore and the stunning GranTurismo Folgore.
Unveiled in Italy, the car looks just like a GranTurismo with its roof removed, which is no bad thing. Under the hood, it’s got the same 800-volt powertrain as the GranTurismo, but a lower top speed of 180 miles per hour. Despite being 20 mph slower than it’s hard-top cousin, the GranCabrio still walks away with the title of fastest convertible EV in the world.
But this car is about more than just headline speed, it’s packed full of the kinds of design details and neat flourishes that you expect from a luxury Italian convertible.
So sit back, relax and get to know the new Maserati GranCabrio Folgore with our gallery looking at the new EV from every angle. To find out more about the car and its specs, you can also read the full announcement on its launch right here.
