McGill and Partners has hired Duncan Milne and Cabot Lyman as partners for the broker’s US property unit.
“We’re delighted to welcome Duncan and Cabot to the firm and to continue building out our unique and highly differentiated broking proposition,” McGill Global Risk Solutions LLC (McGill and Partners US) chief executive Karl Hennessy said.
“The addition of such high-caliber talent to our global team further enables us to deliver cutting-edge solutions to our clients and distribution partners.”
Milne, who most recently served as Greater New York property leader at Aon, is taking on the position of US property head at McGill and Partners. He brings more than 16 years of experience to the role.
Meanwhile Lyman, who joined Aon in 2013, was senior vice president and team leader in the company’s property practice. She will serve as US property partner at McGill and Partners.
Earlier this year, McGill and Partners brought in Franca DiCenso as US broking operations manager.
At the time, the FM Global veteran said: “I joined McGill and Partners because of the company vision, culture, and people. I am thrilled to be working with the best in the industry who are not only extremely talented but enthusiastic, respectful, and kind.
“It is an amazing opportunity to be part of such a unique and pioneering company.”
Recent hires in the US also include Kasey Stewart, a partner and account executive in the business development team. She manages key client servicing processes.
“I joined McGill and Partners for the strong leadership, positive culture, and opportunity to collaborate alongside top industry talent,” she previously commented.
Aside from the US, McGill and Partners also has broking expertise in London, Bermuda, and Dublin.
