Business owner problems: How to pick insurance plans for a new business? (US-MD)

Background: My wife and I are beginning a new business venture (we're not new to business ownership just this particular venture is new) and we want to offer health insurance to any employees who make it through a preliminary probationary period (90 days) as well as to 1 employee who will be starting with us on Day 1 that we have history with.

My problem: OMG I have no idea where to start. I mean, ok I have kinda started – I'm going through our state's small business connection portal and I've entered the demographics of the people we expect to cover at the outset and now I'm looking at this list of choices and I don't know what I'm looking at.

Some examples:

UHC Choice Plus Gold

BlueChoice HMO Bronze

UHC Core Essential HSA Gold

KP MD Bronze 7050

I mean the list goes on and on, there's "silver" and OCI and Advantage HSA and each one gives things like Total cost (to our company), deductibles, Out of pocket maxes, and other values

And there's 6 pages of things to look at!

How the heck am I supposed to choose? Am I supposed to pick just one? Multiple? I'm completely lost here.

Are there any SBOs here who have dealt with this and have any kinda clue what to do? Or – who can I talk to that can help me understand this, professionally?
