Digital insurance platform KoverNow has announced the appointment of John Trotter as its new chief sales officer (CSO) and managing director for the Hong Kong market.

Trotter (pictured), known for his expertise in business development within the financial services sector, is now at the helm of driving KoverNow’s expansion beyond its foundational market in Singapore and initiating the launch of its acclaimed digital insurance application in Hong Kong.

This appointment signals a pivotal development for KoverNow in its strategy to widen its market reach. The company’s app has seen a surge in popularity within Singapore, owing to its convenience and adaptability to customer needs, the company said.

Who is John Trotter?

Prior to joining KoverNow, Trotter led business development initiatives at firms such as Tesco, AXA, Sun Life, and QBE. His track record includes orchestrating partnership agreements in both Europe and Asia, along with establishing direct insurance channels for global insurance giants.

KoverNow welcomes new executive

Trotter assumed his position on March 1.
