Cover-More Travel Insurance stood out at the 2024 WeMoney Travel Awards, bagging three significant honours, including the prestigious Travel Insurer of the Year title.

The accolades for Cover-More included not just the Travel Insurer of the Year but also the Domestic Travel Insurance of the Year and the Best Quality in Travel Insurance award.

Additionally, the company was a finalist in categories for Best Digital Experience in Travel Insurance, International Travel Insurance of the Year, and Outstanding Claims Experience in Travel Insurance.

Cover-More affirms commitment to evolving offerings

Cover-more Australia CEO Todd Nelson said the awards are a testament to the firm’s commitment to evolving its service offerings and enhancing customer experience.

“During the past few years, Cover-More has undertaken an industry-leading period of transformation in response to changing trends and demands,” he said. “We were first to market with COVID-19 coverage, we have actively responded to customer appetite for tailored and flexible policy adds-ons, such as x-adventure activities, and we have advanced a holistic approach to mental health, including 24/7 professional counselling for concerns such as depression and culture shock.”

Cover-More forecasts strong growth in travel insurance

Looking to the future, Nelson is optimistic about the growth potential in the travel insurance industry for all demographics, powered by Cover-More’s approach to product and technology innovation.

“As part of Zurich Group, we tap into the strength that comes from a global footprint, married to a focus on each and every traveller, supporting them through responsive product design, ever-evolving technology, education, and ready access to assistance when and as needed,” he said. “This gives Australians peace of mind for their travels, whether they’re heading overseas or exploring the delights of their own backyard.”
