Authorities are on the lookout for a former State Farm agent who allegedly pocketed money intended for a client’s insurance premium payment.

Michael Preston, a 42-year-old from Woodstock, Georgia, is facing charges of insurance fraud and forgery.

According to the Office of the Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner, Preston received a $3,500 premium payment from a client and redirected this sum into his personal bank account. He was later fired from his position at State Farm.

“The suspect did not use the $3,500 check for its intended purpose,” said Commissioner John F. King in a news release.

A warrant has been issued for Preston’s arrest on November 15, according to a statement from the commissioner’s office, but he remains at large and is wanted by authorities.

Maze was arrested in Jacksonville, Florida earlier this month after four years on the run.
