What Kind Of Cars Are These?

What Kind Of Cars Are These?

Last weekend I was walking through Beverly Hills when I came across a trio of bright red cars parked in front of the Beverly Wilshire hotel. There was a constant crowd of people surrounding them, with civilians taking videos for TikTok and carspotters shooting photos with their DSLR to get Instagram likes. I didn’t really understand what the fuss was about, as I’ve got no clue what these cars are.

My First Automotive Love: Bob and the C4 Corvette

All three looked almost identical, though the one at the front had slightly different bumpers and lights. Each one has a big wing at the back, lots of triangle-shaped air vents, red bucket seats and other race-ready bits. The logo on the hood and front fenders was some sort of animal reared up on its hind legs in front of a yellow background – it looked like it could be a moose, or maybe a goat?

One of my friends said that these cars are something called a MacLaren F1, which is apparently very fast and rare, but I’ve never heard of it. Someone else said they might be Pontiac Fieros, but these cars are way too ugly to be a Fiero – the same goes for the Toyota MR2, which another person suggested. Maybe they’re some sort of weird old mid-engined Corvette prototype? They kind of remind me of a Lamborghini.

Please help me, this has been keeping me up at night. Do you know what kind of cars these are?
