ARAG scoops ATE Funding Award

ARAG scoops ATE Funding Award

Authored by ARAG

ARAG was presented with the Case Funding Provider award in this year’s Personal Injury Awards, at a ceremony held at the iconic Hilton Deansgate hotel in Manchester, last night.

ARAG picked up the prize for its ARAG Advance funding solution, which has been extended to more and more firms, during the past year.

Commenting on this year’s entrants, chair of the independent judging panel Mike Benner, chief executive of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, said;

The quality and number of submissions was very high and it was, for me, an inspiring and enlightening experience to read – or in some cases watch – the entries… our sector has a duty to ease the process and do what we can to rebuild lives shattered through negligence. I see these awards as a celebration of that.

ARAG has used its underwriting experience and expertise to build a serious alternative to the funding solutions previously available to law firms. ARAG Advance offers not just a workable and competitive funding solution but also, in what has been a volatile ATE market, a sustainable one.

Responding to the win, Head of Sales Mike Knight said:

Winning awards is always a nice pat on the back, but I’m particularly pleased that ARAG Advance has been recognised in this way. We’ve taken time and a lot of people at ARAG put in a lot of work to create a sustainable funding solution that really works for firms and their clients.

While the number of clients benefiting from ARAG Advance has continued to increase significantly, the number of law firms that ARAG has been able to extend the solution to has also increased, by more than 50%.
