American Income Life Insurance Customers

People comment with the intent to inform, only to add to the confusion with wrong or incomplete information. Usually it’s more buzzwords (scam, MLM, pyramid scheme) than details and context.

There are two sides: the customer and the agent side.

If your connection to American Income Life is as a customer (you have policies), it is not an MLM. The insurance is legitimate.

What usually harms a customer is the revolving door of uninformed, and yes, lying agents. But you know who else lies? Customers. Not to mention the “customer is always right” mindset often has people thinking that because they want something to be a certain way then that’s how it should be – industry standards and state laws be damned. Customer experiences differ. Do you avoid countless phone calls, voicemails, text messages, and sometimes emails? Does some of your mail go unopened and ignored? A lot of those very people like to complain… a lot. Do your research.

Remember, these are 100% commission sales agents. If they don’t sell, they don’t get paid. I imagine everyone on here is an adult who has had people try to sell them everything from phone insurance to mattresses. Just like you researched those phones, cars, stereos, and TVs, do your research about individual insurance companies and insurance.

Your experience with American Income Life, for the most part, will be as good as the agents you deal with. And sadly, that’s just the luck of the draw.

They aren’t all like me. Yep, I’m an agent; have been for over 10 years. Not going to tell you my name or state. I’m not here to defend the company and I’m not here to sell (probably not licensed in your state anyway.) I’m not even going to endorse it. Why? Because the only service I will guarantee is my own.

I’ve read a few posts from weeks and months ago asking if anyone can help with an issue, and it’s always such a simple fix. Instead of me answering the questions into the void, I’m posting in case a customer comes across this and needs help. I can tell you the process from application to approval. So if you’re a customer and you’re getting nowhere with your agent/local agency, I’ll try to walk you through whatever issue you’re having. And give you some advice on how to phrase what you’re trying to do.

Biggest thing…don’t waste time repeatedly calling the agent if they don’t respond. Contact the Waco, TX customer service department. But sometimes there can be miscommunication. Those are customer service reps, not agents and often, customers don’t know what to say or what they are even trying to do.
