Hey yall. It's about time for me to start shopping for health insurance again and some help/opinions would be insanely helpful.

I'm currently with BCBSTX. TLDR; they have screwed me sideways and i would rather cut all my fingers off than reenroll with them .. Scroll if you don't want backstory.

BCBS sent me a list of providers that i could use. 99% of them were incorrect numbers or addresses, i couldn't find a single provider with an accurate phone number or practice in THEIR PROVIDED LIST. I had to find a GP 45 minutes away that took my insurance. This was the only accurately listed provider on the list. I googled the other providers to find their correct practice/phone # and they would state they didn't cover BCBSTX.

I have been told incorrect information about my plan every single time i've called such as "you need a referral to see an urgent care". I have had to email sections from my plan to negate their misinformation.

There have been multiple times that providers have been AND I QUOTE, from BCBS themselves, "negligent to follow proper procedure for my plan when filing claims" and BCBS has outsourced these claims to a third party who is stated NOWHERE anywhere in my plan or any papers that I signed with them, accepted the claims and put money towards my deductible even though it was stated providers were at fault and their claims are directly against what my plan states

They have told me employees were fired because of the misinformation they gave me and then in the same breath referred me to the agents who have given me said incorrect information.

All that being said, I have reported them to the attorney general's office for Texas, and need to find someone else.

I'm 27, no preexisting conditions, need decent mental health and prescription coverage but other than that am low maintenance. I live in Houston and would love decent coverage in this area.

What are y'all's thoughts? thanks a ton.
