GROW x BlackRock Trio is a suite of products crafted to aid investors in growing their wealth amidst a challenging market backdrop. It is set to officially launch on October 11 following an IPO on September 18.

As part of the partnership, both GROW and BlackRock signed an MoU on Aug. 11 for a range of investment solutions. This proposition represents the first of many that are expected to be announced in the coming months.

Given the ongoing global economic instability characterized by increasing inflation, interest rates, and geopolitical uncertainties, these new investment products also aim to address investors’ need for investment instruments that not only preserve their capital but also strive to yield sustainable returns, aligning with long-term financial aspirations.

The offerings within GROW x BlackRock Trio, according to Singlife, are structured to address these requirements, granting investors targeted exposure to diverse asset classes.

GROW clientele can access to all three funds within the GROW x BlackRock Trio portfolio, encompassing options such as:

BlackRock Strategic Funds – Systematic Asia Pacific Equity Absolute Return Fund A2 SGD-Hedged – An alternatives fund with broad investments across Asian equity markets, aimed at delivering consistent, low-volatility positive returns, regardless of market oscillations.
BlackRock Global Funds US Dollar Short Duration Bond Fund A10 SGD-Hedged – a fixed-income fund for high-quality short-term USD bonds, offering investors diversified income streams and bolstering overall portfolio resilience.
BlackRock Circular Economy Fund A5G SGD – a global cross-sector thematic equity fund targeting companies at the forefront of the net-zero carbon transition.

“Given the complexity of today’s macroeconomic conditions, safeguarding and nurturing investments has never been more vital,” GROW with Singlife CEO Akhil Doegar said. “Diversification is always the key. Leveraging BlackRock’s leadership in investment solutions, we are delighted to introduce a robust trio of financial products. Rather than attempting to time the market – a high-risk strategy – the GROW x BlackRock Trio offers investors the opportunity to construct a diversified portfolio with resilience and long-term growth as the primary objectives.”
