Not-for-profit health insurer Teachers Health recently received the Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Award for Major Private Health Insurer of the Year – Not for Profit or Restricted Fund 2022.

“We thank our members for this recognition and are proud to be able to provide exemplary care and experience with our health cover,” said Brad Joyce, CEO of Teachers Health Group. “Our members are at the heart of everything we do, and we’re pleased this has been reflected in our receipt of such a prestigious award.”

For the recent awards, more than 280 companies competed in 40 categories.

“Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Awards honour the Australian businesses who deliver continuously on their social contract with every customer,” said Michele Levine, CEO of Roy Morgan.

How can a company become eligible?

The Customer Satisfaction Awards are selected based on Roy Morgan’s annual survey of approximately 60,000 Australians across Australia.

“This massive study provides an accurate, independent and objective measure of how people feel about the companies they give their business to,” said Levine.

“We ask respondents to tell us which companies they deal with in different categories and then to rate how satisfied they are with each. Each month we calculate monthly Customer Satisfaction winners in each of the categories as the year unfolds, and the annual award goes to the company with the most monthly wins.”
