Term life Questions (Was going to apply at policy me)

Just curious as to what to expect as I haven’t had a check up in about 10 years or so. (Overdue, yes.) but feel great and fine.

I am contemplating term life in Canada with policy me. Some of the questions are vague and I would probably require explanation but I figure if I say more than I have to it will affect my premiums. Having said that I don’t want to omit things for obvious reasons.

Any thoughts? My wife is healthy so am I; about 10 years ago I have a benign cyst / fatty liver and have no issues disclosing it. It was all treated/diagnosed in an Asian country my last Canadian medical was 10 years ago. (Latest.) with no red flags on the blood tests. In the Philippines the advised a general health lifestyle and that the cyst was benign.

Some of the questions are related to alcohol but wondering if they would be able to access my medical records in the Philippines or would I be OK to just disclose what the Canadian clinics have done. Should I mention the stuff from overseas?

Thanks don’t want to do anything wrong here but the advice might be just to worry about what I have to and to avoid saying things I don’t have to but want to make sure I don’t have issues with my claim if there ever was one.

Thank you ahead of time.
