Berkley Design Professional, a subsidiary of Berkley Alliance Managers and a part of the Berkley Company, has announced a collaboration with enterprise software provider Deltek Marketplace.
This partnership aims to enhance the accessibility of Berkley Design Professional’s specialized insurance products, specifically catered to meet the risk management needs of architects and engineers (A&E), for both existing and potential Deltek customers.
“This relationship enables Berkley Design Professional and Deltek to provide thought leadership in new, innovative ways that will help our mutual clients improve business practices, minimize risk and confidently build a better future,” said Larry Moonan, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Berkley Design Professional.
Berkley Design Professional offers comprehensive coverage that is specifically designed to protect firms in the event of losses resulting from negligent acts, errors, or omissions in the performance of professional services. Key program highlights include primary or excess coverage options with limits of liability up to $10 million, substantial premium credits for implementing robust risk management practices, nationwide coverage in all 50 states, and underwriting by Berkley member insurance companies that hold an A+ (superior) rating by AM Best.
In addition to insurance coverage, Berkley Design Professional policies provide access to their risk and practice management guidance and resources, which are aimed at helping A&E policyholders effectively manage potential exposures and enhance their business practices. In the event of a claim, the in-house claims team at Berkley Design Professional supports clients by advocating on their behalf, striving to protect deductibles, and offering comprehensive support throughout the claims process.
