Taking six months to a year off work – COBRA vs. Marketplace?

I recently lost my job and can afford to take the next six months to a year off (will be receiving severance pay plus savings). I will be using the time for a much needed career break and exploring new career opportunities.

41 yo and relatively healthy so no major issues or pre-existing conditions, no payments toward deductible. Mainly used dental and vision benefits over the past year and will need these come the new year. Biggest health concern I was hoping to address before losing my job was my potential sleep apnea and continuing meeting with a therapist.

Will also be looking to move to a different state at some point within the next six months.

My COBRA cost if elected is ~$660/month for health, dental and vision coverage and can elect new coverage during the upcoming open enrollment in Nov. I can afford this, but only if it’s the better option.

Would comparable coverage from the Marketplace be worth exploring given the potential time gap and the above considerations? Will likely not be eligible for subsidies based on income.

Thank you!
