Doctor in network, hospital was not!

Had a colonoscopy done few months ago, there were several polyps found but under 45 years of age. I made sure the doctor was in network with insurance, healthnet through coveredca. I had gotten the bill from the doctor 8k which insurance covered most of since it was in network and I have paid the rest. I am now seeing a separate claim from the hospital itself for 15k! When I arrived at the hospital I remember paying an out of pocket of around 500$, I thought originally this was all I had to pay. I called the doctor and they said it's 2 separate bills, I find this insane. The claim says processed but there are no details and EOB pdf says not available/not ready. It looks blank but says my responsibility is 0 but I'm not sure if this is because it has not fully went through yet. Hospital is not open but I wanted to get some advice please on what is going on here and how to handle it as I cannot possibly pay 15k or any where close. Thank you everyone.
