Conflict between Medicaid insurance and student insurance

I will try to make this as short as possible, but this has been extremely confusing and stressful for me. In the state that I am a resident of XY, I have medicaid. All the medical care that I have sought and all tests that doctors have ordered for me are covered by this insurance. I do not pay out of pocket, if anyone is paying, perhaps it is my parents since I am still on their insurance. The issue starts when I go to school out of state in AB. Since I have medicaid my university requires that I have a certain student insurance. So, that's what I have when I am out of state and in school.

Unfortunately, I have been getting mail sent to me non-stop about bills that I have to pay for care that I received in XY because AB does not cover it. I have never received medical care in AB, nor do I plan to. When I have called Medicare, they tell me that I do not have outstanding bills. They also gaslight me when I asked them to send me my explanation of benefits (EOB) and said that I never called about it (even though I asked for my EOB twice to send to insurance AB). When I call AB and explain the situation about the 2 different insurances, I get a loop around. They tell me to talk to the provider and the provider tells me to talk to the insurance. I have contacted and emailed the person who handles student insurance in my university and she tried to blame it on me. The information these people have given me have been loop arounds and useless.

I want people to stop sending me bills that I KNOW are covered by insurance XY because they have been in the past. My friend also has the same issue and apparently they even sent a collection agency after her. If anyone has any recommendations, please let me know. I will answer any clarification questions in the comments as needed.
