INSUREtrust launches private equity unit

Division will assist clients during the due diligence phase of M&A activities

INSUREtrust, a specialty broker focused on cyber insurance and risk management within Starwind Specialty, has announced the launch of its Private Equity Division.

The division will be headed by Florence Levy, who assumed the position of executive vice president at INSUREtrust in March.

To tackle the challenges associated with assessing digital, technology, and cyber risks, INSUREtrust has developed a set of tools available through the Private Equity Division. These tools aim to assist clients during the due diligence phase of merger and acquisition activities, providing services such as risk management, due diligence support, and insurance solutions for private equity transactions.

Leveraging INSUREtrust’s extensive experience of 26 years in proprietary data and analytics, the Private Equity Division will utilize third-party vulnerability scanning, artificial intelligence digital asset quantification tools, and deep expertise in cyber insurance to deliver solutions tailored to the unique risks faced by private equity firms.

The Private Equity Division of INSUREtrust will cater to clients across various industry sectors, including technology, healthcare, and finance. It will take into consideration the needs of both portfolio companies and fund managers throughout the process.

“At INSUREtrust, we are dedicated to delivering bespoke solutions and exceptional service,” said Christiaan Durdaller, CEO of INSUREtrust. “Our new Private Equity Division is a testament to that commitment, and we firmly believe it will revolutionize the industry.”
