Switching Companies with open enrollment in July

Hello,

I'm being laid off from my current company after a contract bid failed. My current HDHP is at $48/m with vision insurance at about $3/m, but because I maxed out my policy, I'm pretty much not paying for any large expenses. I also had expensive medications that, thanks to the lack of a copay accumulator and a generous HSA contribution, cover a lot of large expenses.

I got a couple of choices but my HDHP policy I was planning on choosing was going to be $56/m (vision included in the price) with a $3k deductible and $4.5k OOPM but with all medical expenses covered after the deductible (so I'm only paying for drugs after). They were also offering at least $100 if I went to a PCP check up and Anthem also offered another $100 or so in other benefits. At this point, I'm wondering if it's worth while to swallow it up and take the new plan for one month and renew rather than stay on COBRA (which will be $525/m), especially since I get allergy shots and see a therapist every week.
