Turning 26, dad’s insurance company won’t provide documentation of loss of coverage, parents not helping

I’ve been trying to contact my parents to help me figure this out and they will not respond to me. I don’t know what I’m reasonably expected to do.

I contacted my dad’s employer’s insurance provider and they said they’re unable to provide a certificate of creditable coverage to me because their records don’t show an actual end date for my insurance. However, they were able to confirm just fine that I will age off the plan at the end of June (my birthday is June 5th). They said my dad’s employer needed to submit an effective cancellation date…am I wrong to be confused how that is the case if I’m aging off the plan? Who is responsible here? What do I need to do or who to talk to? Am I supposed to wait until I lose coverage at the end of June to obtain this? That seems…not right?

I’m so confused and I don’t know what to do now. I had no idea it would be this difficult to obtain a document for something as common as aging off your parent’s insurance. ): What am I doing wrong? I’m desperately in need of advisement.
