I didn't know where to ask this and my work is not being very responsive.

I swapped from Kaiser to UHC, to join my works plan because my dad lost his business, and the piece of paper of my different options that my current works insurance agent provided states in writing that the nicer plan, "Covers lab work and X-Ray 100%. Deductible waived," and that for virtual visits, "You pay nothing. Deductible does not apply."

So I messaged UHC and asked about my plan details and they told me that for lab work, I have to meet the $1000 deductible for them to cover 80% of the eligible expenses. I also had asked for a list of virtual care providers that are in network, and they confirmed that virtual visits are free if I go with a specific one, so I made an appointment with that specific one, and now I have a bill for $30, my insurance only covered 70% of it.

Am I missing something here?? Is he lying on the sheet he gave me?? I would not have picked this plan if I knew the information on the sheet was incorrect. My work is not really getting back to me and I'm just wondering if this is normal?
