Does this coverage even make sense?

Hi, I’m hoping someone can provide me some clarity. My husband was laid off, and his new job doesn’t offer health insurance for 90 days, so we won’t be covered through his job until 7/1. Getting our own health insurance has frankly been a nightmare, but we finally got our insurance cards and we were surprised to see that it said our copays were $0…after the deductible (even though we specifically chose this plan because it was the only one that didn’t say we needed to hit the deductible first). We’re going to see if we just missed that information ourselves or what, but my question is…is it even worth it to have that insurance for two months? It seems to me like we’re paying $500/month for the privilege of paying full price for everything anyway? What would the difference be if we just didn’t have health insurance? Over the next two months we do have some doctors appointments (vaccines, bloodwork) but I can’t imagine the total would cost more than $1100 (the total price of two months of health insurance coverage). Am I missing something?

Thank you in advance!
