We’re having our first baby – which employers insurance is better for our child?

Option 1) Anthem Platinum PPO 15/40/10%

Deductible:

$0/person or $0/family for In-Network Providers

$2,000/person or $4,000/family for Non-Network Providers.

Out of Pocket Limit: $4,200/person or $8,400/family for In-Network Providers.

$8,400/person or $16,800/family for Non- Network Providers.

Co-Ins – 10%

PCP / SCP – $15 PCP / $40 SCP

Urgent Care – $40

ER – $200 ER Copay + 10%

In-patient stay – 10%

Outpatient surgery – $150 copay +10%

Option 2) Aetna Health Fund

Health Fund from the company:

$500 EE only
$1000 EE + Spouse
$1500 EE+Family
*Prorated Fund

Deductible:

$1000 EE Only
$2000 EE+Sp or Child
$3000 EE+Family
*Prorated

Co-Ins, PCP / SCP, Urgent Care, ER, Inpatient stay, outpatient surgery is all 10% after Deductible
