RSA appoints new Head of Construction Risk

RSA Insurance has today announced that Ade Adeyemo is to head up construction for RSA’s UK risk consulting team. Ade will be responsible for leading the construction risk engineering proposition across both commercial lines and specialty lines.

Ade originally joined RSA Risk Consulting in October 2022 and will now replace current UK Construction Lead, Trevor Chainey, who is due to retire after a 45-year career.

Ade is a qualified Chartered Civil Engineer with more than 34 years’ experience in construction management and risk engineering. Prior to that, he spent time at AIG and Zurich. Before switching to insurance, he worked for 10 years with several of the UK’s largest construction companies. He is also the Chairman of the Construction Insurance Risk Engineers Group.

Andy Jones, Risk Consulting Director at RSA Insurance said:

“I am delighted Ade has taken on the role of construction lead, he is an experienced and really well-respected practitioner. Since joining us, he has already got to know many of our clients and his expertise has and will be invaluable.

“I’d also like to wish Trevor all the best for the future and a happy and healthy retirement. He has had a great career and is a valued colleague that we will all miss both personally and professionally.”
