First time shopping for health insurance; need help!

I have been the health insurance provider for my family ever since my wife and I got married 18 years ago, and have always had employer-sponsored insurance. I'm starting a 12-month contract-to-hire job May 1st and need to find an alternative. My wife is self-employed and our combined income (high 6 figures) will definitely eliminate the possibility for any kind of subsidies.

Given that, should I still shop on Healthcare.gov, or is there some better way to shop?

Are there brokers? Consumer Reports (we have a membership)?

Recommendations for tier shopping (bronze, silver, gold)? We had a HDHP at my previous job so that we could have an HSA and because my HR department told me that they are good for people that use either very little care or that use a lot of care (we are in the latter camp).

I've never paid much attention to this, but am trying to learn as much as I can before next month.
