Could I get this covered?

So I had Hg (hyperemesis) with my pregnancies. hyperemesis gravidarum is a severe form of morning sickness. I was diagnosed by a dr in the ER and treated by my OBGYN and a team of IV therapist at my local hospital. with my daughter in 2020 it was so bad I had to do iv therapy 3x a week and iron and still threw up 10 times a day for 9 months. I had a baby end of 2022 was so sick. I recently went to the dentist because I had a tooth ache and found out I have a certain type of cavity on basically every tooth. She told me that this is very common in women who have my condition, because you throw up so much the bile breaks down your enamel and essentially you have no chance to not get a ton of cavities. And I need to get them all fixed before they get worse. 1 already needs a root canal. I’ve been quoted by 2 different dentists $3,000 for treatment. I also require anesthesia because I have extreme anxiety with treatment. I have dental insurance but they will only pay $1000 / year and my initial appointment ate that up with just X-rays. I’m wondering if I can get the dentist to write a letter saying that their professional opinion is that the type of cavity is commonly seen in women with my condition that I could potentially get an oral surgeon to do the fillings and then it would charge my health insurance and I wouldn’t pay anything. I’m curious if this is something I could try to get my health insurance to cover and how I might go about that. Is it worth trying? I have BCBS. Through an employer plan. It’s pretty good and my max out of pocket is paid for the year.
