Need help to figure what to do with health insurance nightmare and company policy ..

Hi everyone, not sure this is the right sub to post. Please directly me which sub would be appropriate , I will post there ( apologies and thank u in advance )

I am right now, facing a horror from health insurance company in USA.

So last year I joined a big corporate at May. They offered a "garbage" insurance possible, with two option, which both have $6650 deductible and an out of pocket of $13000+ . We were expecting baby and I kind set aside the $6,650 for my baby. We had our girl at October, and due to company policy, I add my daughter to my plan. Also in the same time frame company was opened enrollment period of heath insurance for next year. So for next year to save money, I enrolled to "saver plan" which is similar crapy insurance.

Now, at the mid of January, I started to get crazy bill like 25000+ for last year. I called to my company as well as insurance . What they said, that they "reseted" or "restarted" my insurance deductible at the birth of my child due to "life change event". basically a restart of insurance all over again from my birth of child. To add some note, my wife had complexity with pregnancy so we had already spent deductible with the insurance. I was shocked and clueless what to do. After several hours of phone call, and after 1.5 months of waiting, finally I found that my company, made a mess during the 'online" enrollment of "life change event'. And they are slow and denying to take any responsibility about this mess. Now in this situation I am really helpless what to do.. In one way, insurance and company tossing me to each other, and another way my hospital bill wracking up and they are sending letter that will give to collection agency.. Any suggestion really really appreciated.

Two situations I have in particular :

In one way, I like my job in this company and pay me well. So I am not sure, It would be good idea to go for legal action against them. Also that means, I could be tagged and deny any other good opportunities to other company for future at tech. I am a permanent residence in USA. Is there any reliable help organization that can help me with this situation. ?

It's an irony that, in the USA a child birth require ( $25000 + ) even if you are a hard working person working a ok job in a large company with a paid insurance .

Any help much appreciated !
