Need help making a change to Marketplace information

Hi everyone. I need help with my Marketplace information. I have tried making a change for six months and am so frustrated I’m turning to Reddit at this point. I would be ETERNALLY grateful if someone could help me with this seemingly mundane issue that has turned into a gigantic frustrating nuisance.

So long story short, I moved last year (from Ohio to Michigan). When I did my initial Marketplace application, I reported a life change and got new insurance. When doing the application, I chose my “home address” as the address I was moving TO (my Michigan address).

However, for my “mailing address” I entered my old address (Ohio) because I hadn’t moved yet and was worried mail would get sent to my new address before we got there.

And now after having moved already, I have tried for six months to get my mailing address changed, to match my home address. And it is so unbelievably frustrating because they won’t change it.

If I try to change my mailing address with my insurance provider directly, they say they can’t edit my information because I need to contact the Marketplace. So I contact the marketplace and talk to someone and they run me through the application all over and I tell them about my address situation. Then they say it’ll take two weeks for my insurance to get the update. This never happens.

And I’ve done this SIX TIMES! It is so unbelievably frustrating. How hard is it to update my mailing address? I’ve tried calling, doing the application again digitally, making sure all my info is correct on my actual healthcare.gov online account, etc. Once I call again, they tell me the same information as before. My provider says I need to call the marketplace to update my info, then I do, and they update my application and say it’ll take two weeks. Repeat and repeat with no success.

Yet it’s been six months, with at least six attempts, and nothing changes. I’m at the end of my rope or whatever with no idea what to do? Does anyone have any tips? My insurance keeps sending mail to my old address and I just can’t take it anymore!! Haha.
