Strategic Risk Solutions, Inc., an independent provider of insurance, reinsurance and captive management and consulting services, has announced a new partnership with investment house Integrum Holdings LP.

In recent years, Strategic Risk Solutions (SRS) has been expanding into the the insurance-linked securities (ILS) and fund administration sectors, seeing an opportunity to provide more services to the ILS sectors participants.

As an insurance manager, SRS can also establish and manage structures for ILS and collateralised reinsurance deals, another area that presents an expansion opportunity.

The partnership with Integrum, an investor focused on partnering with technology-enabled services companies, will help SRS further build out and target growth across alternative risk markets and captive services, the company said.

Integrum’s investment in the company will help SRS expand geographically and in its range of service offerings, as well as actively pursue strategic acquisitions and partnerships.

“We are excited about the opportunity to partner with Integrum to further accelerate our next phase of growth. Integrum has a demonstrated successful track record of value creation across its current and past investments, and truly understands the alternative risk ecosystem and the value of the independent model. This partnership brings the stability and resources that will solidify SRS as a leader in the market for years to come,” explained Brady Young, CEO of SRS.

Young will remain as the President and CEO of SRS, with the current management team also remaining in place.

“The captive insurance industry continues to present an expanding opportunity in both the property and casualty and employee benefits sectors of the market,” explained Tagar Olson, Founding Partner of Integrum. “Brady and the SRS team have built a reputation defined by innovation and quality, and we look forward to supporting them as we unlock opportunities that will enhance the services they provide to their clients and the value they bring to their business partners.”
