shopping for health insurance and very overwhelmed

Basically my health insurance through my employer is awful and it would be more cost effective for me to simply be uninsured and pay out of pocket (I did the math for 12 months).

I was just trying to compare plans online and now I'm being called nonstop. I did talk to someone and when I said I had written down the information and what would be a good number to reach him at after I've had time to consider my options he transferred me to a manager, giving me the same info. I again asked for the number for the original rep to call back. After another couple minutes I asked a third time and he got really agitated and aggressive. I told him I was uncomfortable with the situation and the pressure being put on me when I'd asked multiple times for callback information because I was interested but now would not consider moving forward.

Long story short, these people are aggressive and I don't know how to even shop for coverage because everything online is just another form that sends your info to more people to harass you. Any advice??
