Marsh teams up with Motor Traders' Association NSW

Marsh, the world’s largest insurance broker and risk advisor, has partnered with the Motor Traders’ Association of New South Wales (MTA NSW), one of Australia’s largest state-based industry associations.

With risks becoming more complex and insurance premiums rising, the partnership between Marsh and MTA NSW aims to ensure the automotive industry has better access to appropriate, affordable, and competitive insurance cover, alongside guidance for business owners to ensure they are fully supported when lodging claims.

The deal will see the launch of a tailored insurance program for the NSW automotive industry, enabling MTA NSW members and the wider industry to access a comprehensive range of customised insurance solutions and risk advisory services, including the following:

Enterprise risk assessments;
Cyber risk profiling;
Fraud risk reviews and awareness training;
Workplace health and safety programs;
Claims management support;
Help with business continuity plan development; and
Asset valuations.

Marsh-MTA NSW partnership: A win for the Australian automotive industry

Kirsten Mills, head of Affinity at Marsh, said the program will boost the automotive industry by simplifying access to the right coverage at a competitive price.

“At a time when commercial premiums are following a wider trend for price rises and businesses can often be too time-poor to navigate the market and find the most appropriate coverage, this partnership is a pivotal step towards ensuring all MTA members can access expert recommendations and support to protect their business,” she said.

MTA NSW CEO Stavros Yallouridis said the program will put the power back into the hands of the automotive industry regarding finding policies that work.

“Having the right insurance is a non-negotiable for any automotive business, and it’s important that our members know how to find affordable and appropriate cover for their needs,” Yallouridis said.

“By partnering with Marsh, MTA NSW is in the unique position to assist automotive business owners in finding more affordable policies without sacrificing the quality of their coverage.”
