IAG launches applications for graduate program

13 February 2023

IAG has opened submissions for its 2024 graduate program, with applications closing on March 5.

Successful candidates will be offered an 18-month program at the insurer beginning in February next year. The program provides a series of technical and non-technical roles across several different sectors of IAG’s operations, including insurance, finance, pricing, risk, technology, actuarial, and analytics.

Collin Zhang is currently undertaking the program and says it has provided him with “well-rounded skills,” and the “opportunity to experience different parts of the industry”.

“The best thing about the grad program is the connections you build throughout your rotations, which will become your own professional network,” Mr Zhang said.

IAG says 93% of graduates participating in the program achieve permanent roles at the insurer when their 18 months are completed.

Eligible applicants must have Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency and have completed a university degree within the past three years, with an average credit achievement of 65%.

Applicants will undergo an online assessment and participate in an engagement day, where they will take part in interviews and presentations with IAG recruitment staff. IAG will offer selections in April.
