BrokerLink acquires Ontario-based brokerage Universal Risk Solutions
“We’ve always prided ourselves on putting the customer first and maintaining our core values of integrity, reliability and honesty,” said URS Insurance president Chris Healy. “We’re happy to join the BrokerLink team, where we’ll continue to go above and beyond for our customers, who will benefit from access to additional resources that come with being part of a national brokerage.”
“In 2022, we welcomed many new team members through acquisition from small towns to metropolitan cities across all regions we serve, and I’m excited to welcome our latest team members from URS Insurance,” said BrokerLink president Joe D’Annunzio. “We believe that insurance is about people, not things, and broker principals considering BrokerLink as a succession option can be confident knowing that we are customer driven; we act with integrity and respect, and we give back to our communities.”
In a release, BrokerLink looked back on its previous other acquisitions in 2022. In Alberta, the brokerage acquired Crowsnest Insurance, Bow Valley Insurance, Tailor Made Insurance, Maple Insurance and Robinson Insurance.

“Insurance is about people, and our M&A strategy supports our people and our customers.”
