Wellness Exams’ Labs: Comprehensive list of preventive CPT codes for labs covered by healthcare.gov

If I am currently uninsured (working part time without benefits and did not secure ACA health insurance during open enrollment) and I need to have surgery before open enrollment next year, can I quit my part time job to join another with benefits to gain health insurance? Do I need to wait til 2023?

I would like to make this post general for other users who have health insurance (offered by their employer or via healthcare.gov) that covers only those preventive services that are covered under healthcare.gov . For example, for adults, this is covered https://www.healthcare.gov/preventive-care-adults/

I have Anthem BCBC PPO plan (based on Texas) and as per their benefits list it covered preventive services as listed in above link. However, I am not sure if there is a comprehensive list of specific labs that covered as part of preventive services. For instance, I don’t see urine analysis listed so does that mean urine related labs are also not covered. Same for Thyroid test

Following is the list of labs I used to do with my previous insurer Cigna and those were fully covered (except for Vitamin D which was dropped recently)

LIPID PANEL (CPL-173)

HEMOGLOBIN A1c (CPL-2708)

CBC W/AUTO DIFF WITH PLATELETS (CPL-1000)

COMPREHENSIVE METABOLIC PANEL (CPL-9179)

VITAMIN D, 25 OH (CPL-4958)

URINALYSIS W/REFLEX MICRO (CPL-1501)

TSH (CPL-2835)

Thank you
