TriNet Aetna HDHP 3000 vs TriNet Aetna PPO 1000

Hi, I was hoping I could get some help choosing between a couple of health plans I am considering.

About me:

Health: 40 something single male who has to get regular blood work (every 2-3 months as part of weight management), three generic medications, weekly mental health visits, and not planning on any major surgeries in 2023 (but you never know). I might have to get a couple of imaging studies (x-ray/MRI).

Financial: 24% tax rate.

Notes:

FSA (PPO) does not carry over year to year in any form.

– HSA (HDHP) – I plan to contribute $1500 a year.

– Aetna also offers EPO plans but from my research, I don’t want to risk using the service w/ a provider who is out of network.
