WTW boosts corporate risk team

WTW has announced the appointment of Andy Blasher as a global client advocate in its Corporate Risk and Broking (CRB) business.

Blasher has more than 25 years of brokerage and carrier experience. He joins WTW from Woodruff Sawyer, where he served for more than five years as vice president and account executive. Blasher has also held leadership roles managing large accounts at Cigna, Marsh and AIG.

In his new role, Blasher will leverage his industry expertise in retail, hospitality and defence contractors, as well as his knowledge of large and complex property, casualty and management liability insurance, to bring customized insurance products to prospects and clients.

“Andy has a deep industry knowledge and specialized expertise in understanding complex global risks, in addition to delivering unique solutions for clients and prospects,” said Jennifer Knox, CRB leader for Southern California at WTW. “His knowledge of the market, along with an appreciation for generating data-driven insurance program recommendations, will serve to provide WTW clients with outstanding guidance. I look forward to adding him to our team.”
