New digital insurance marketplace launches in Canada

Tribe Property Technologies – a solutions developer for the property management industry – has launched a new digital marketplace which will allow users to find home insurance and other household services more easily.

The new “Tribe Home – Market” feature is accessible through the company’s proprietary Tribe Home platform and is a curated marketplace that lists the best offers for things like insurance, grocery deliveries, laundry services, and more.

“Our Tribe Home platform is used by residents of multi-family communities across Canada,” said Tribe CEO Joseph Nakhla. “Through Tribe Home – Market, our team is curating offers that leverage group-buying power and help lower household overhead. The offers consider segmentation of geography, type of building, whether rental, strata, condo, and stage of a building such as new construction.”

Nakhla explained that Tribe can curate offers on day-to-day services or home insurance based on the user’s homeowner profile on Tribe Home.

“For example, a Tribe Home – Market offer for home insurance would consider your geography and the type of dwelling you live in,” the CEO said.

The Tribe Home platform is currently available to over 110,000 homes across Canada, a release said. And for this year, Tribe added more than 20 partnerships with service providers, ranging from insurance, internet, phone, cable, and even pet food delivery. All of these service providers and vendors can be found on Tribe Home’s Market feature.
