WTW names new head of P&C for Australasia


WTW, a global advisory, broking, and solutions company, has appointed Robert Lasovski (pictured) as the new head of property and casualty (P&C) for its corporate risk and broking (CRB) business in Australasia.

Lasovski (pictured) joins WTW from Marsh McLennan in Australia, where he was the national corporate and commercial leader. He has 29 years of experience in P&C insurance and client management, sales, and corporate practice, having held various leadership positions throughout his career with Marsh.

In his new role, Lasovski will be based in Sydney, drive growth in key industries, and link the CRB global propositions to meet client demand for more innovative solutions.

Commenting on his new leadership role, Lasovski said: “I’m excited to be joining an innovative and progressive organisation. I’ve had immense respect for the WTW brand in our market and was drawn to the vision and ambition of the company for the region. Simon Weaver, head of Australasia and head of CRB, Asia and Australasia, has welcomed Lasovski to the team, emphasising that his experience and vision will help the company accelerate its P&C business’s growth in Australia and New Zealand.

“His outstanding track record in delivering growth and client excellence at a national level in the Australian marketplace is a testament to his ability to further develop our business, help our clients succeed, and grow our team at WTW,” Weaver added.
