NFP names mid-market leader for key team in Canada

She had also served as the executive liability senior underwriter at AIG. Pelaez is fluent in English, French, and Spanish, and is a graduate of EAFIT University in Medellín, Colombia. She also earned a specialization in International Business from McGill University.

In September, NFP appointed Robert Scherer as senior vice president, joining the company’s Complex Risk Solutions Group (CRSG) in Canada. Scherer is an energy industry specialist, and in his new role, he will assist NFP’s clients in the energy sector.
