Liberty GTS grows Asia-Pacific team with underwriting hires


Liberty Global Transaction Solutions (GTS), a business under Liberty Mutual Insurance’s Global Risk Solutions division, has hired three underwriters to expand its capabilities in Asia-Pacific’s growing warranty and indemnity market.

Damian Ng, underwriter at Liberty GTS, is based in Singapore. Most recently, Ng was an associate director at a large Singaporean law firm, where he worked on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions.

Sanjeve Prakasam, underwriter at Liberty GTS, is based in Singapore, Prior to joining the company, Prakasam was a corporate lawyer in two major law firms in Malaysia, where he advised on various corporate matters in relation to mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets, corporate restructuring, and various other legal aspects of corporate and commercial transactions.

Alexandra Culas, underwriter at Liberty GTS, is based in Sydney. Prior to joining Liberty GTS, Culas worked as a corporate associate for six years at several law firms, gaining experience in working on large corporate and M&A transactions, with a focus on private equity and private M&A.
