I have BCBS of Oklahoma. I have 2 diabetics in my household. I have spent 4 MONTHS fighting tooth and nail to get insulin and insulin pump supplies. My doctors aren't the issue — it's BCBS. They lose paperwork over and over and over. They can't figure out where I need to go to get my supplies. They send me to the wrong place to get supplies. They don't know why my prescription isn't going through. Yada yada yada. They constantly give me the runaround. They constantly lose paperwork. It's absolutely maddening. I've tried getting coordinatinated care via BCBS, but they were absolutely useless…giving me the same runaround. I've submitted 7 separate complaints to the Oklahoma insurance commissioner…but all they do is wait for the company to respond. So in short, I'm given the runaround until I'm absolutely exasperated. I complain to the insurance commission, and poof…I get a resolution…but only after being so frustrated I want to bang my head against the wall. I have been at the point of tears. Please help me.
