Falvey Insurance Group launches wholesale division

To bolster its marine and logistics offerings, Falvey Insurance Group has launched a new wholesale division.

The new Falvey Insurance Group Wholesale will be led by senior vice president Greg Liewald and supported by wholesale producer Sean Ryozaki. Falvey added that the division will provide complementary solutions to its marine and logistics products, while offering access to London markets.

“Adding Greg and Sean’s expertise in the wholesale brokerage space to Falvey Insurance Group builds on our unending commitment to service our retail brokers and policyholders,” said Falvey Insurance Group chief underwriting officer Mike McKenna. “Our wholesale division will match unique market access for difficult to place risks with dependable, high-quality underwriting facilities.”

A company release noted that this is Falvey’s “first-ever formal endeavor into wholesale,” and that its clients can expect “the same service excellence Falvey is known for.”
