Report reveals the most innovative companies in insurance

Over the last year, the pace of change across the insurance industry hasn’t let up. As the industry slowly emerged from the COVID-19 pandemic it was faced with numerous challenges including natural catastrophes, economic pressures and ongoing issues of insurance affordability and availability.

Insurance Business has found the insurance companies who have taken on these challenges and led the way with insurance innovations, earning a place on the Five-Star Insurance Innovators report.

Back in May, IB invited insurers, brokerages and service providers from around Australia to submit a nomination, detailing the steps they’ve taken to introduce new innovations to the insurance industry.

The IB team assessed each nomination for detailed information, innovation and proven success. Our team also benchmarked each entry against the other entries.

The result was 23 5-Star Insurance Innovators.

Insurtechs, insurers, brokerages and underwriters have all faced the industry’s many challenges head on. However, some stood out for their creative solutions and innovative ways of helping clients solve problems.
